Anna Buser joins CEA as scientific assistant
Anna Buser has joined the CEA lab as a scientific assistant. She holds a Bachelor in Social Anthropology and a Master in Critical Urbanism. She also works for Zirkular on the reuse of construction elements.
She completed her bachelor in Social Anthropology as a major, biology and environmental sciences as minors (University of Zürich). On this basis she found herself working in an urban "think tank" office (denkstatt sàrl), which focuses on transformation processes in an interdisciplinary team. This furthered her interest in urban development which lead to her completing a master's degree in Critical Urbanisms.
Her interest on waste management has grown during the master, and after completing her thesis on international waste trajectories based on fieldwork in southern Mozambique, she started working for Zirkular, a company concentrating on the reuse of construction elements. She has now joined the CEA Group at ETH as a scientific assistant.
The Chair of Circular Engineering for Architecture (CEA) develops research on matching reused architectural materials with people and projects through digitalization for a circular built environment. For more information visit our webpage.
