Thibaut Menny of the CEA Lab selected for "AMBassador for Sustainable TransitION" Programme
We are thrilled to announce that one of our researchers, Thibaut MENNY, has been selected to participate in the prestigious "AMBassador for Sustainable TransitION” (AMBITION) Programme
Funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ initiative, this remarkable opportunity is the first IDEA League joint EU-AU project targeted at PhD students, and is based on the collaboration between 7 universities - Politechnico di Milano, Chalmers University, ETH Zurich, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, RWTH Aachen University, Strathmore University, Delft - and one partner NGO Green Growth Africa Sustainability Network Nigeria.
The program includes participation in immersive Sustainable Innovation Schools in Nairobi (November 2023) and Delft (May 2024), access to online web series, high school teaching, and evidence-based policy brief redaction. Thibaut will engage with fellow scholars to build new peer-to-peer partnerships on sustainable development, paving the way to positive international cooperation across Europe and Africa in the short and long run and raising a future generation of scientific ambassadors for sustainable transition.
