Welcome Ana Bendiek Laranjo
Ana Bendiek Laranjo joined the Chair of Circular Engineering for Architecture as PhD Student in December. She will work on the hybrid PhD with the Urban Energy Systems Lab at Empa
In June, Ana did her diploma thesis at the chair of Construction Informatics at the Technical University of Dresden on the topic "Implementing the principles of Circular Economy in the AEC sector: About the identification of reusable components using 360° Scans and Machine Learning" (2023).
She has since worked as a Research Assistant in the "Intelligent Empowerment of the Construction Industry" project at the Institute for Construction Informatics of the Technical University of Dresden.
Ana's background lies in civil engineering, with an integrated diploma in Civil Engineering (Dipl.-Ing.). Her specialization is in sustainable construction and construction informatics.
The Chair of Circular Engineering for Architecture (CEA) develops research on matching reused architectural materials with people and projects through digitalization for a circular built environment. For more information visit our webpage.
