On 1. April, Catherine De Wolf and the CEA members of the Innosuisse Flagship project SWIRCULAR co-organized and coordinated the SWIRCULAR Second Annual Meeting in collaboration with the host institution, ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the latest research developments with academic and industry partners involved in SWIRCULAR. The inspirational speech delivered by Nicolas Fries, Circular Economy and Innovation Manager at Implenia, gave attendees the opportunity to reflect on the impact of ongoing research.
The event was made possible by the ZHAW members of the SWIRCULAR project Konrad Graser and Alexander Walzer, who also organized a tour of the K118 circular building at the ZHAW campus.
In addition to the dynamic intellectual exchange, the meeting marked a significant transition in project management. Arabelle de Saussure transitioned the project leadership to Claudio Martani. The team took a moment to collectively acknowledge and thank Arabelle for her pivotal contributions, which have been instrumental to the ongoing success of the project.
CEA members of the SWIRCULAR project: Catherine De Wolf, Arabelle de Saussure, Claudio Martani, Mikhael Johanes, Forth Kasimir, Pei-Yu Wu, Ana Bendiek Laranjo, Loïs Lozach, Vanessa Schwarzkopf, Silvia Vangelova, and Pascal Emmenegger.
