
Catherine De Wolf participated in a round table at the Swiss Architecture Museum
Part of the pre-programming for the 9th edition of the Oslo Architecture Triennale, the discussion focused on the role of maintenance in sustainable architecture and design.
On 22. May 2025, Prof. Catherine De Wolf participated in the round table discussion, “What If Maintenance Comes First? Emerging Forms of Preservation,” at the Swiss Architecture Museum (S AM). The other discussants were Silke Landenberg, director of the Chair of Conservation Heritage and Preservation at ETH Zurich, and Line Ramstad, director of the Oslo Architecture Triennale. The discussion was moderated by S AM Curator Yuma Shimohara.
Supported by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Bern, the round table was part of the pre-programming for the 9th edition of the Oslo Architecture Triennale, “What if nature comes first," which opens this fall. It was presented in conjunction with the exhibition “What Was Could Be: Experiments between Preservation and Architecture,” on view at SA M now until 14. September 2025.
