Research area
Within the Innosuisse flagship SWIRCULAR, Silvia focuses on developing workflows and interfaces for implementing digital passports in construction through digital technologies such as building information modelling and large language models. Her work focuses on optimising the management and retrieval of building inventory information during project design and subsequent stages.
Additional information
Before joining ETH Zurich, Silvia was a graduate assistant at the Sustainable Urban Systems Lab at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, USA, where she was enrolled in a continuing education programme in Analytics. She holds an integrated Master's degree in Architecture, specialising in 'Technology of Architecture', from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy in Sofia, Bulgaria.
In between, Silvia was a computational solutions lead in a private company where she developed, maintained and deployed several software tools, including plug-ins for lifecycle analysis in BIM authoring software.
