Additional information

Research area

Pierre’s research area lies in between architecture and Life Cycle Assessment. He is particularly interested in evaluating the potential of circularity and low impact materials to mitigate climate change as well as to tackle biodiversity damages or resources scarcity. During his Post Doc, Pierre is involved on the UP2030 project by developing a tool to enhance circularity at urban scale.

Additional information

Pierre completed his PhD at Navier laboratory (Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées) on the subject of “Life Cycle Assessment for the design of low environmental impact building structures: from materials to structural skeleton”. This work was conducted in collaboration with the architecture and engineering firm AREP and the Scientific and technical Center for Building (CSTB) in France.

Previously, he was trained as a structural engineer at the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in France and the Ecole d'architecture de la ville et des territoires Paris-Est.
